Default Blow by Smoke Outta the oil cap Breather Filter

I let my car warm up and was adding some coolant so I took the radiator lid off and while i was under there I would give it some gas (50-75%) to warm it up more to open the thermostat to suck coolant so i could top it off. Anyways the first time i did it white smoke cam out and a tad bit of oil. The as I kept doing it less and less smoke came out.

Is it normal for ANY normal to have some blow by? etc. I dont burn any oil etc.

Mods are 243 heads(06 GTO)
232/234 .595 .598 cam headers
LS6 intake
Boltons

Anyone tell me if this is ok.

I've always had smoke come out of the oil fill cap when the engine is running or immediately after shutting her down. I just rebuilt the engine, and it still does it. The rings seem to be seated quite well, too.

so i take it, that this sort of thing is normal, especially for our motors cause they are somewhat high compression, and mine is cammed..

Sounds like he deleted his stock pcv garbage and has a breather. I believe it is fine as long as it is not always smoking. If it is smoking all the time it is usually a sign of a tired motor.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it's smoking a lot. When I take off my oil fill cap and let the engine idle I can see just a few puffs of smoke slowly rise out of the valve cover. It's not much at all and doesn't seem to have any "umph" behind it. My engine did this stock and does it still after the rebuild.
