Default A little help regarding Rocker arm replacement

Considering 1.8 rockers. These are not the LS7 exhaust rocker or other 1.8 as offered by aftermarket sources. Appear to be 1.8 OEM type.

Is the LS1 stock head a 7/16", 3/8" or other dimensions for the rocker stud?

Edit: O.K. removed the offending link and information.

The page did not display, and please do not post/repost a link to non sponsor sites. Those are probably poly locks for an SBC or BBC. If you plan on a cam at all...stay away from upping your ratio. if you are not confident in your stockers, send them to Nasty Performance for a rebuild. I promise it is worth your while, and is much less than whatever that link was you tried to post.

The stock LS1 uses a non-adjustable rocker with an 8mm thru-bolt that threads into the cylinder head. Some aftermarket adjustable rockers use a stud, but again, it's 8mm where it threads into the head...

SLP makes 1.8 (or 1.85) stock type rockers. Theyre supposedly pretty good for SLP standards, however youre better off just going with an aftermarket cam with your specs ground in.

I know but I found a set for $150. rockers + polylocks. Indicates for 3/8" stud. Presume that is the shank diameter. Wished to verify that was stock size or if I needed to purchase a stud set as well which bumps up the investment by another $40 or so.

What is the setup. Crane use the M8 thread on the bottom of their stud and then the SAE 3/8-16 on the top. Not sure what your original link was, but don't stray too far from name brand vendors on valve train items, could be a costly error. Intakes and exhaust maybe, but not something so critical as a rocker arm.
