Question 243+ms4+fly cut

i have a set of 243 stock, how much can i mill them with .040 head gasket,2000 model ls1 stock, and ms4 on 111 lsa,i would like around 10.8 scr and 8.4 dcr or close to optimal? im not sure how high i can go i will be running 93 pump gas also be spraying latter if that makes a difference about 150 or 200 shot. also how much can i flycut piston .080 or .100,and will i need to flycut exhaust valve?

To get a good answer on how much you need to mill and valve relief you would need to take it to a shop and have them perform measurments on it. Its almost impossible to give you a number.

well too close and you crash pistons into valves.

With that cam it could be possible. With that setup(assuming you have 2cc of relief in the piston) it will take almost 7 cc of head milling to get to the 8.3 DCR area, which is approx .042 of deck off the head. With that much deck gone you now may hit the pistons still. This is calculated with a 111 LSA with a 110 ICL. the calculations may be off some but should be ballpark.

Yeah, that is good and since yours are stock valved (I think) you'll have better PTV.
