Default Is this cam even worth the install?

I got it for free basically. My car is pretty much stock for now. I'm building a motor but it's slow going and keeps getting puton the back burner.

dur @ .006 261.2 IN 269.0 EX
@ .050 213.9 IN 219.6 EX

Lobe Lift is 0.32154 IN 0.32405 EX
Valve Lift is 0.54661 IN 0.55089 EX with a 1.7 rocker

Thanks

Ya man that looks like it will not be a massive cam, but im sure you will see some gains from it. Its almost a LS6 cam except i think the lift is a lil higher on this cam. For performance i wouldn't buy the cam IMO i would get like a 224/224 588/588 now this cam is a very good performer and has great gains over stock. This is just my .02

kinda depends on what kind of gains you are looking for. If you just want mild gains with a little better exhaust tone, Go for it.

It was a FREE cam. All, I'd be doing is buying some LS6 springs. So, is it worth the $100 for springs basically. Any gain is a +

if money is an issue and you can install it or a friend install it it would be very good .... intalling the ls6 springs bythemselves with a stock cam is worth it in my opinion because like in a street race it will pull harder than before past 5500 rpm .... that cam with say a 6400-6500 rev limit and a 6100-6300 shift is very good and say a friend that was ahead of you by a car or so or next to you or a car behind will no longer have that distance.....
