Default Manley Double Roller

I am installing my TR230 cam and talked to a tech guy at thunder racing about my timing chain. He had me go with a Manley double roller non-adjustable. I have a TSP ported LS6 pump and want to know if this is going to be a pain in the *** install. He said it was easy to install and should have no problems at all. Has anyone messed with this same setup? I had a LS2 chain but when i installed it i had like 3/4" slack in the chain. So i needed a new timing set.

if it's like all the other dbl. row stuff, it will be easy. lineing the shims up for the oil pump are probably the hardest part.

What about clearancing the timing chain cover. It seems like we are going to have to clearance the cover with our Manley Double Roller chain. Anyone have any pics of where they clearance their covers at? Is it just the pump mounting bolts that hit the cover.

Any help appreciated.
