Smile help on buying new parts

I have an 01 ws6 and want to start modding. What parts would give me about 100 horsepower. I know there are different combination of parts. Want to start by putting some long tubes and new airlid. Any suggestions. Would really appreciate.

THat is a really general question. I mean if you want 100 HP, you can just throw a shot of N20 on it and be done. If not, then a Supercharger would get you allot more than 100.

Some Questions You might ask yourself.

How much money do you want to spend??
What are your goals? Do you want mindrange power, Higher TQ or HP??
Do you have to stay within the relm of Emissions??
Are you gonna be cruisin the local strips and highways, or are you gonna be doin the 1/4 scene???
I have seen some people who just want the sound and dont care about the other things.

Just as a general rule, most people do: Lid, Exhaust, Long Tubes and Y-pipe.
After you have those basic bolt ons you can do the bigger power gainers. My heads and Cam netted me around 107 HP to the wheels. Its all about your overall goals. Also SEARCH is your friend. Or make your questions a little more Specific after you think about what you want.

It is possible to do it, you would probably have to buy a few used parts though.

headers- 350
catback/x-pipe- 400-500
lid- 90
underdrive pulley- 225
cam kit- 600-700
injectors- 225
tune- 450

Thats close to 2500 and thats without all the overhead $$ that you dont even realize you will need for odd end stuff. And most of that stuff is on the cheap side.
