Head milling/gasket combo - what increase in SCR? I bought a pair of Stage 3 Patriot LS6 style heads used and I want to bump up my SCR to get better torque down low. They have 68CC chambers right now (my stock ones are close to 67CC) and I was thinking of taking them down to 63CC and using a .040 Cometic head gasket to raise my SCR. Is it correct that you lose 1CC for every .006 you mill? If so, how much would dropping to 63CC and using that head gasket raise my SCR?
