LS4 heads I was reading on the LS4 5.3, and I found that GM uses LS6 heads on the LS4. Can anyone confirm this and if so are will they bolt onto an LS1? I would assume they would so as the LS1 was a center bolt style head and not the early perimeter bolt head. This just looks like a good avenue for used LS6 heads if the cars get wrecked.

Seeing a monty SS in a dealer showroom, i can tell you i've seen the casting #243 first hand. They are indeed LS6 heads... 
BTW- LS6 castings are pretty cheap now, really wouldn't need to find a wrecked car to get a good deal..
