Is this cam going to be too big?
I am looking at the torquer 2 cam with my current setup in my sig. I want to know your opinions on if you think that size cam will be ok for me to run on the street. My car is not a daily driver but i am not sure if the 3000 stall and 3.42 gears are right for that cam. Does any one think that i should move down to something in the 228 range.

torquer 2 at minimum.
I think you should move up to a bigger cam lol.
<---Beleiver that its not cam size that effects (to a degree) drivability but tune. A good tune and even bigger cams will drive like butta!

Not too big at all. But I daily drove an MS3 for a year and a half...and will be back to daily driving it come April.
It's the low stall speed converter that worries me. Is taking the converter out, shipping it to TCI for a restall, and putting it back in when you get the cam an option?
I might go smaller to match the 3k stall.

Yeah i am not going to send the convertor back at least for a while. But i figured that the 3.42 in my auto would help pull that up a bit. but that is why i think i should move down to a 228 228 to be safe.

The torquer 2 camshaft drives really nice in stalled automatic cars with a little bit of tuning.

i dont have a lot of personal experience with the autos, but T2 would be the MINIMUM cam i would go with. I have a 233/239 and drive it 600-700 miles a week without a problem (M6 car). Its all in the tune... seriously.
