Default Valve cover clearance??

Does anyone have any experience trying to use these GMPP cast Chevrolet valve covers on ETP heads using Jesel shaft rockers? I'm hoping they are a little taller??

thanks

I just got mine in and they look awesome. Theres no baffeling under the cover like on a stock VC. If you can get stock covers to work on the jesels I'd say these should work too. Might wanna call sdpc and find out for sure though.

They are nice! Where did you get them? I'd be interested in hearing about fitment issues too. I had to cut out the baffles in my stock ones.

I hope they fit. I plan on using a set with ETPs and T&D shaft mounts.

Is this picture accurate? I don't see any mounting bolt holes for the coil packs.

I doubt whether those valve covers were designed with the coil packs covering them.

Someone on CF just did a mod with these, he has photo's of the entire install including moving the coils. I will see if I can find a link.

Found it:

Wow! That's a little too much work to just replace the valve covers! At least for me.
