check out the TR230/224 on a 111 lsa, its an old cam, but has proven itself time and time again, which is why i decided to go with it after checking out some dyno graphs for my daily driver. Its a torque monster and has a great sounding idle.
Just had my car tuned yesterday, and got 355 rwtq on a VERY stingy mustang dyno through mac mids and STOCK LS1 intake. the tuner said i should easily be around 380wtq on a dynojet, and VERY close to 400 with a LS6 intake.
P.S. the car made 298 lbs or torque at 2900 rpms
As far as what parts your going to need besides the obvious with cam and springs, id look into getting:
1. New hardened pushrods
2. Ported LS6 oil pump
3. New timing chain
4. And i choose to go with titanium retainers and locks just for added assurance.
