So I've decide to get a cam in my dd and I want to go big. Right now I'm looking at the tsp xs 233/239, .595"/.603". I'm considering going bigger. I'm willing to put up with the drivability but I don't want to change the valvetrain out every xx,xxx miles. My question is how many miles would it be "safe" to run the gold dual prc's before they need to be swapped with an ms3? What about with the aforementioned cam?

i have heard that you need to start checking them every 5k miles after 15k.
