Default Cam decision help please

I decided to go with the TSP H/C package, 5.3L Stage 2.5 heads but what cam, basically I want something very streetable. Im in CA but I just smogged my car last month so Im not too worried about smog. What im looking for is good all around power and torque but nothing too much. I was lookin at the 228R on a 112LSA. If you guys can throw some suggestions at me please. Ive heard the MS3 but the chop is too much for me. Thanks guys

I have a small 222 duration cam for my 5.3 heads. good power,tq down low to mid starts to drop off at 6000rpms. its still a lot better than the stock cam I would go with a bigger cam like a 228. I would talk to the guys at TSP about the cam there very helpful

You would be when you get pulled over and your car impounded by the mobile smog smurfs.

Try a MTI Stealth II 224/220 .581/.581 116 but order it with +4 advance.

That will rock in Cali, Stealth and power.
