I dont see the correlation between the two, except that the LSK generally have high lift.

just wondering if people are seeing more needle bearing failures with the stock rockers when dealing with the LSK ramp rates and high lift.

I would presume that the rocker would see some additional stress from the agressive ramp rate and high lift. That is why I decided to have the upgraded needle bearing conversion that is offered by Harland Sharp performed on my rockers. I think it's good insurance.

It would be hard to say if more failures resulted from these specific lobes becasue the rocker failure itself is so widespread. It even happens on stock truck motors.

I agree with the smerf.
I haven't seen anyone complaining about this yet using LSK lobes.
I have done 3-4 setup's now with stock rockers.
I haven't seen a HUGE difference between the XER and LSK stuff as far as power goes, but I haven't seen any harm either.
I have seen some power gains don't get me wrong just not crazy gains.

Stock rockers here. I think you could possibly see less stress on rockers and valves with LSK lobes than XE-R lobes because of the softer ramp rate from .006" to .050". and higher lift. The higher lift lobe actually follows the lifter's intended "loft" angle better than XE-R lobes and the softer ramps at .006" should reduce valve bounce. In my eyes, the LSK lobes shouldn't be any harder on rockers unless you are going way up on spring pressure.

Not to interupt this thread but how do you know if you have LSK lobes. Not real familiar with the whole lobe design.

LSK lobes have a lot more lift that normal XE or XE-R lobes. Lift starts at .629 and up.
