Compression Test?

Compression Test? Will a compression test tell me what kind of pistons I have? The reason Im asking is because I dont know if anythin has been done from the pistons down.

If you want to know what kind of pistons you have take the head off or rent a borescope and stick it through the spark plug hole. Good luck finding one of those to rent though. I only have access to one because I work on helicopters. Or just assume that you have all stock internals.... that would be a safe bet too!
