Default lifters

ok so i just recently picked up a set of 853 heads with new springs seats locks and retainers im getting them p&p'd, right now my lifters are tapping or 1 at least i plan on replacing them when i swap heads. do i have to go back with a hydraulic lifter and if not what would yall recomend?

Stay roller, you dont want to go solid lifter unless you have a pure race motor.

Just buy a set of LS7 replacement lifters. They're inexpensive and will work fine for most cams.

X2, but if you have the $$$ and want the best then buy a set of Morels.

not lookin to spend more then like 200 but i want something thatll hold up to a cam down the road
