Default LS1 stock lifters and Timing Chain ?s

I am going to build a 347-383 ls1. I have some heads 241 castings that flow 305cfm at .600. I am going to runing a victory jr carb setup with a big cam around 24X/24X .600lift + I am going to get roller rockers and one piece chromely pushrods. My question is will I be alright spining a blueprinted motor to about 7,000 or alittle more or less with the stock lifters. Will they perform well at that high rpm and how tough is the stock ls1 timing set. Would I be fine using them, can I get away without buying the comp r's

Let me know,

Thanks Mark Tisdale

stock lifters and stock timing set are ok to use for that. Just get the new LS2 timing chain, its supposed to be stronger then the LS1 chain.

stock lifters are fine, they are better out there if you planning on running higher than 7000 rpms. i would upgrade to a double roller set up. jp performance, rollmaster, etc.

Yea I am going to run the oem for alittle while, but I am definetly runing a double roller setup, the stock ls1 chain looks weak...
