LS1 stock lifters and Timing Chain ?s
I am going to build a 347-383 ls1. I have some heads 241 castings that flow 305cfm at .600. I am going to runing a victory jr carb setup with a big cam around 24X/24X .600lift + I am going to get roller rockers and one piece chromely pushrods. My question is will I be alright spining a blueprinted motor to about 7,000 or alittle more or less with the stock lifters. Will they perform well at that high rpm and how tough is the stock ls1 timing set. Would I be fine using them, can I get away without buying the comp r's
Let me know,
Thanks Mark Tisdale
