I just seen a bolt on the passengers side of the pick up tube in a pic I seen... What pick up tube is this? This looks like it would be a lot easier than the current posistion which is on the drivers side and you have to drop the pan.

btw search isnt working so how often do oil pumps go out? Is there anyway to see if there bad? I mean it all looks simple.. Looks like something would have to break to go bad.

its the oil pickup tube, goes from the pan sump to the oil pump.

I have the pump with both holes.. Can you use the corvette pick up tube on an fbody? Do they have totally different oil pans?
