Default Need info on intake runners and rocker stud bolts

In another thread a photo was posted a photo showing a rocker arm bolt protruding through the roof of the intake runner. Being that I am new to LSx head designs, I am more than a little curious as to whether this is "normal" or isolated to certain after market head designs and/or extreme porting.

Can any of you who have stock or after-market heads post some photos of your intake runners in this area?

Also, I am not knocking this "bolt through the runner" situation, just wondering the potential disadvantages (if any) in the event I opt for something in a similar design.
