i'm in a position right now where i have some cash to finally put a cam in my car its a basic bolt on car with a 125 shot of spray. i'm lookin into the tourquer 2 with tsps cam pack an ls2 timing chain and a ls6 oil pump. just wondering what some of your thoughts are on this cam and just curious what type of hp and trq gains i'll see .

Is that a conservative tune?? Those numbers seem kinda low, I am not trying to bash just wondering, I would think with thos heads and that cam you would at least be pushing close to 420hp.

tune was by TSP at wolfworth, dyno was on a dynojet

thats the same thing i said , i dont kno, i asked TSP what was wrong with my setup cause i seen peeps w/ a cam alone pushing 400whp, they said if i dynoed it b4 the cam and heads, she made 333 full bolt ons. thats a 73whp.

i think that since im running un-milled 243's, stock head gasket, stock pulley, unported stock TB, ls6 intake, and through a 12bolt, and my heavy z06 knock-offs, thats where my 20-30whp went

what u'll think?

Yeah you are loosing a lot of power through various things, But even if the dyno said that you only had that much, it don't mean nothin except for numbers, Take it to the track and it might surprise you...

How does the cam act at slow speeds?? Like around town??? I am interested cause I am thinking about going different than A 233/239.

its really good around town, it used to surge alil, but i fixed it via HPTuners , it doesnt like to cruise under 1200rpms, above that its almost stock

b4 i fixed my surge and idle issues it would turn off comming to a stop, so i went into hptuners checked my iac steps and they where maxed at idle, so i re tuned my TPS(adj. idle screw & reset the TPS) and i got my steps in the 20-30 range when its at full temp, and now i have no issues,

i do need to go to the track though, ima get my line-lock hooked up, and buy me a set of draglites and some ET streets and see what she does i love the cam though, and to think i wanted to get a Z06 cam b4

sorry mach killer but lol jk

it can be the tune, if u had a egr prob when u where gettin ur tune they prolly compensated for it while doing the tune, but i think its very unlikely

since u have a stock TB the hole in the TB blade is stock so thats out of the question(some people drill it bigger to solve thier idle issues, i did it via my idle set screw and reset the TPS)

the PCV lines check the one that goes into the intake manifold. check to see if its sealed or dryrotted or cut

as for the brake line, i ment to say the line that goes from the back of the intake manifold to ur brake booster(i think thats what is called), check to see if its dryrotted or if its cut same as the PCV

the IAC valve could be stuck in the open position, allowing more air into the engine, but i dont kno how to check for a faulty one, (this happened to a friend of mine thats why i said check the IAC)

u want all the air to be measured through ur maf, any air that goes into ur engine un measured can cause a lean conditon, maybe someone w/ a lil more experiance on the subject will chime in
