Default can you use lt1 retainers for ls1's??

I know the 918 springs are interchangable but are the retainers also?? My buddy bought 918 springs/retainers/locks but it was all off a lt1. I know the springs are interchangable but can he use the retainers/locks too?? I saw someone said the valves on ls1's are different then a lt1. Can someone conferm this?

The LS1 valve stem diameter is different so you can't use the locks.

I would think so if the outside diameter & angle of the locks is the same

They use different retainers as well as different valve locks. There is a .028" differance in valve stem dia (11/32" is .3415" and 8mm is .3135").
