Default 6.100 Compstar rods and pistons for stock rods

The motor is coming back out of my red car, and I want to put in aftermarket rods this this time. The motor has JE forged pistons on stock 6.098" rods. I do not see the pin size on the Callies site for their 6.100" LS1 rods, but will I be able to use these rods on my existing JEe pistons?

The 6.100" rods have a .927" pin diameter, so, unfortunately, they won't work with your existing pistons.

Could the rods be honed by Callies or elsewhere to take the larger pins?

Scat has an LS1 rod 6.100" rod with a .945 pressed pin deal.

let me know if you have any questions.

There isn't enough bushing material to just hone them out larger. The rod would need bored larger in order to install the correct bushing for the larger pin. The existing bushing bore is too large for a press fit. It could be done without too much difficulty, but would drive the cost of the rod up.

Ah, I wasn't sure if the OP was using pressfit or floating.
