Default what cam for pp 243 heads

Just go a set of patriot 243 heads cnc'd stock valves 64cc chambers 227 cc runners with the patriot gold spring pkg. going with .040 cometics to increase cr. car is a 98 auto 3.23 gears 3500 stall 3480 raceweight. Have longtubes, ory, open borla, and Ls6 intake.
Car is a 100 mile a day daily driver mostly hwy but will be at the track almost weekly this summer so I am looking for the most hp I can get but not have problems sitting in stop and go traffic in 90 deg heat. I have a lunati 224 .563 on 112 cam I have not yet installed. should I stick with this cam for my goals or go bigger. I keep reading about this 228 232 .595 cam and think this may be tolerable for my setup. Any input would be apreciated.

If you want a little more lope and top end power over the 228, go with the Torquer V2. I love mine and I have almost identical heads to you...mine are just PRC LS6 instead of PP.

FWIW...I have a TR224 and it makes great power for a smaller cam. But I LOOOVE the sound of overlap in the LSx's. I'll be going with a cam that has 12 degrees overlap (230/234 .612/.598 110 + 2) I'm not 100% on those specs though. I'm trying to have tbe best of both worlds....power down low and up top. If it were me, I'd install the cam you already have. It'll prolly be just fine.
