Default Patriot duals install only?

Ive got a set of Patriot Gold dual valvesprings and Comp 7.4 puxhrods. I will be putting a cam in within the next few months, but I was wondering if it is safe to go ahead and install the valvesprings in the meantime. I dont see how it could cause any issues, however I would like to make sure prior to the install. Thank you!

You should be just fine doing that. I'd wait on the pushrods though. I assume you have new retainers too?

Yeah, titanium retainers. Why would you wait on the pushrods? Wear pattern?

Pushrods are easy to change. And why replace them if they don't need to be changed out? Changing the springs is the pain in the ***...so I'd get that done and out of the way.

IMO i would wait to put the springs on, no reason to add miles to the springs with a stock cam

I'm not sure if the stock pushrods will stand up to the pressure of the dual springs. You may bend them

Stock pushrods and Dual Springs??? NO GO, NO GO, NO GO ! ! ! ! I see bendage in th near near future!!!! You can bend stock pushrods on a stock engine and stock 500 lift springs, no need to bend them on purpose. Pushrods are so simple and chrome-moly mandatory

Yeah, id install the push rods at the same time. You dont have to worry about the overreving as much now with heavier springs, so the stock pushrods no longer offer safety, just a higher possibility of not holding up to the dual springs.
