Default Sleeving a LS6 block to stock bore? [cracked]

I may be getting my hands on a '02 LS6 block. The only problem is it ran through deep water and ingested water internally! It cracked the #7 piston, cracked the #7 cylinder wall slightly, and bent the connecting rod like a pretzel. No other visible damage done as much as I can tell. How durable would resleeving it be to a stock bore to repair the cracked cylinder wall? Would the new sleeve be thicker than the stock sleeve, or will it be a sleeve within a sleeve? It's not very much of a crack, just can barely see it, but its there.

We have done a few like this with great results, you should be able to get this fixed.

Well I looked at it more this morning and the crack extended into the deck surface and into the aluminum part of the outer cylinder wall. That part of the crack wasn't there yesterday, so I think it cracked after I tore it down. I wonder how much that would affect the block strength if it were to be welded and sleeved or basically patched?

That one is bit "tricky", we have done one where the cylinderwall was missing a piece and repaired it with succ. but would never warranty it. There would have to be stress relieving and other things done to give that type of repair a chance.
