Default What lifters to use?

I am about to buy a MS4 and was wondering what lifters to use. Has anyone used the Comp R's? Or should I go with a factory replacement?

Question

I just got my SS back from LG. They did G5x3, 205 AFRs, NGK cold plugs, ASP, moser 12 bolt with 3.73, OZ700, BMR front and rear sway bars and LCAs, FAST 90/90. And they also did the lifters, they put in Comp R, but they did it w/o asking me first, so I got a good deal on them. I am trying to figure out what exactly lifters do. Does anyone have a link where I can find some info on them? I'll keep searching, but help is always appriciated. She dyno'd at 467 rwhp and 427 torque. It's a monster!!!!

I apologize for Hijacking.

right now I cant afford a full cam swap and I have either a bent pushrod or a bad lifter. Well I already bought hardened pushrods. Would LS7 lifters go well on a stock 99 Camaro with a stock cam.

Thanks

Just so people are clear on the subject; LS7 lifters are NOT the same as the Caddie racing lifters. They're merely an minor upgrade to the standard Ls series lifters. In fact, they are the current replacement lifter for LS series engines. If you're going to replace the lifters for a high performance build, I recommend spending a little extra and get the Cadillac Racing lifters.

Is your statement about Comp R's based on fact or rumor?
