Default Which Red Tube Loctite

On ls1howto it mentions to get loctite red tube, but i found a medium strenght red tube and a heavy duty red tube. Which one? Tried searching but couldn't find specific answer, oh and sorry for the dumb question.

For what application? Where are you using it? Most LocTite thread lockers have a number. The 222 (purple liquid) and 242 (blue liquid) are the most common threadlockers that can still be removed if needed. The two red liquids (262 & 272) are considered "premanent" and will require the use of torch/heat to loosen at a later time (if needed).

I've used the heavy duty and medium depending on what it is that I'm using it on.

YEah man use the 242. The red **** is no joke. Vibration wont break the blue loose. I used it on my crank bolt and flywheel bolts and i'm spinning high R's with no problem.

I got 242-medium and 271-heavy, going to use it on cam retainer, bolts, etc. Any where ls1howto mentions to use loctite.
