Thumbs up

I have built a lot of 383s with the Eagle stuff and Wiseco or Diamond pistons depending on what you want. The Lunati is nice too but much more expensive also the Callies stuff is somewhere in the middle. It just depends on what you want.

The Eagle/Wiseco stuff I have is the most economical and the Callies/Diamond is the lightest and lowest ring tension and the price difference is maybe 525-ish or so between those extremes.

In my Z28 I went with Callies crank,Compstar rods,Diamond pistons.Total seal rings with a stud girdle to help support the entire assembly. RESULTS 792RWHP 850 TORQUE with a 300 shot NX.

Eagle crank,Eagle rods, and JE pistons setting on my computer room floor. Will be installed in mid March. Hopefully this will be a good combination with a 225 shot - big cam/heads and full bolt ons. Oh yeah, LS6 block too.
