Default Biggest valve in stock valveseats?

What is the biggest valve you can put in the stock valveseats before having to change them? Seems like I read somewhere that it is a 2.02 and 1.57. Thanks for any help.

I think you'll need a valve job if you use anything other than stock size valves.

Just a quick question. Why change the valve size if you are not changing the size of the seat any? I can't really see that as helping anything. Maybe I am not seeing this correctly but, would it not be like pouring water out of a bottle. It does not help to put a bigger lid on the bottle. Only so much is going to come out of the bottle unless you make the opening bigger.

Do you intend to ask about recutting the valve seats for bigger valves, or replacing the stock valve seat inserts with larger ones to accomodate big valves?

Its the size of the hole that counts...proper machine work on the valve seat is important too.
