Question Double check spring install?

I am so friggin stoked!!! I just installed LT's and Patriot Dual valvesprings by myself! Childs' play for most of yall, but I dont have the kind of experiance that alot of yall do. It was ALOT easier than I expected!
Anyway(back-patting outa the way ), I was just wondering if there is anything additional that I need to check for prior to reinstalling the rockers or valvecovers to assure that the locks and all are seated? Probably WAAAY overthinking things, but just wanna make sure I do this right.
Thanks guys!

The locks should be flush w/ the retainers and they should almost resemble a complete circle w/ two slashes. -IIRC.

Installs are a definite confidence booster! A buddy and I just installed LS6 Stage one heads, MS4 cam, LS6 ported oil pump, Mezire Electric Water pump and ASP UD Pulleys. I feel so much more confident about doing anything more w/ these cars! This was my first time in an LS1 engine, and it was actually kind of easy!..
