Are 862 5.3 Heads good?
With my mods listed below, I dynoed 426 RWHP with these TEA 1.5 Heads. The heads were ported and milled a bit. I was wondering if I'm doing ok with these heads? I was also thinking about going to the AFR 205 heads and was wondering what gain I should see.

It might not be a better head..just because you pay more does not mean it is better. My TEAs flow 316 cfm that is as good as the AFRs. If you were a six speed car you would be in the mid 400s which is pretty good. The only way you are going to pick up any HP is going with a ported 90/90 combo ... the latest and greatest on the aftermarket head scene now days are the $3000 trick flow heads..I would go with the 90/90 first..after you get to the mid 400s adding more HP is pricey compared to the first 100+ HP you gained with your mods ..
PS the L92 heads and intake might be good if you had bigger cubic inches but with a 346 size motor the trick flows are the shinizznit now.. those heads and the 90/90 are bad *** ... Vengeance Racing just did a 346 with the trick flows and it made 524 rwhp.. it was a six speed car and thoes are stout numbers ..
