Default LS6 cam into 5.3?'s

I have an 02 5.3 that I am going to put an 02 ls6 cam and springs into. Is it necessary to mess with the push rods or will the stockers work. I have a set of SLP 1.7's I was also wanting to run with this combo that I got a good deal on. Are there any issues that I should expect with this setup. This is for a long term daily driver that is getting driven 40K+ miles a year.. I am also putting in a melling 10296 oil pump and a new stock chain.

i believe the z06 cam has a smaller base circle, so longer pushrods would be in order. your melling #10296 pump, do yourself a favor, when you get the pump, change the relief spring out to the blue one they give you.

Anyone know about what length of pushrod I will need to compensate for the base circle of the cam?
