383 stroker or new engine?? I have not done heads and cams yet and I was really considering to do 383 kit when I do this but I was thinking would it be better and cheaper to buy a complete 408 or something ready to go? If so who makes and sells these?

it won't be cheaper but for not much more you can have a 408 and have all that extra bottom end tq .check with the sponsors like tsp,hpe,lme or anyone of them that sells shortblocks,longblocks and get an estimate.you will be more than happy with the extra cubes.
