Heads/Cam combo...need some help here ppl ok i wanna have my stock LS1 heads ported and polished with upgraded rockers/valve springs/pushrods..possibly throw a new cam in while the car is down...what im askin...whats everyones opinion on the getting the heads reworked and what cam would be recomended for a daily driver that gets raced pretty regularly...im lookin for something pretty serious as far as the cam goes..thanks

Look into the dirt cheap stock valves LS6 (243) heads from sponsors... Theyre hard to beat bang for the buck. If you do have your own heads re-worked, take them to an LS1 specialty shop.
As for the cam, the options are limitless. Go find some local people in a nearby club and see how they like their cars and how they behave. Cams are far too subjective to accurately tell you which one is right for you.

hey thanks for the advice guys...theres a local club here in town and i think i might just have to drop in and poke around...by the way thats one sick camaro man..nice
