LS1 Intake on a 4.8/5.3
I've got a 4.8 for my S10 project. Assuming that I need to swap
to an LS1 intake for hood clearance, what problems do I run into
doing that? Will he 4.8/5.3 harness still work? Will anything need
to be changed on the 4.8/5.3 harness to compensate for the LS1
intake manifold?

You need to post this question on www.performancetrucks.net
I believe you can use the stock truck injectors on a LS1 intake but not the LS6. At least that is what I have read. If your using the truck accessories (I doubt it, going in an S10) you'll need either the new truckstyle 07' waterpump and a idler bracket from speartech. Where the stock idler is on the truck accessories blocks the throttle body on a LS1 intake, you'll need to cut this small chunk off the alternator bracket. If you're using the car accessories everything should fit as is. You'll also need a throttle body cable bracket for the LS1 intake or make your own. From what I've read they have to moved back 1/2". I think that's everything...
