Default Cam and springs

Ok cam and timing chain and oil pump all done, now., can I bolt this whole bottom end back up and then do the springs? or is it just safer adn smarter to do the springs and turn the motor over to see if it turns... I just want to finish the bottom end!

Do it as per the how to article. Leave the timing cover off and do the valvesprings. It is just a really good move for safety and to prevent any possible damage.
