lifter ? please help

Default lifter ? please help

if 1 lifter was bad could i get away with just taking the head off the side where i need to replace the lifter.

i guess you could, but IMO that would be stupid. You will be killing yourself if another lifter goes bad in the future. You might as well do them all while the car is down, and then forget about it. Plus, i dont know if you can buy just one lifter, you would have to buy a whole set.

still doesnt make sense to me, you have to buy a whole set. And what if one on the other side goes bad? Its your car man, do however many you want, but personally id do them all at once and get it over with.

For no more work than it is to pull the other one off (after you've torn it down to pull one side), I'd vote for doing both sides as well.

Check the FS section...I've seen some really good prices on new/slightly used Comp 850s (OEM replacements) here lately.
