SES Light is On, What's the Usual Cause?
2001 Camaro SS, 105k miles, no modifications to the exhaust or engine other than lid, pully.
SES light came on, stays on. What are the usual culprits?
Do I need to take it to Chevy and have it scanned for codes?

A couple weeks back I drove the car accidentally after forgetting to put the gas cap back on. But that was weeks ago. Could this cause the SES to come on two weeks later?
