Default Oil Consumption After Cam Swap

Had TR 224 with 918 springs. Changed to 227/231 cam with LSK lobes, Patriot Gold dual valve springs, the bronze colored valve guides that came with the kit and and underdrive pulley. Had normal oil consumption before swap (one quart every 2-3K miles). Now I'm losing a quart every couple hundred miles. There are no oil leaks and car runs fine (still in process of tuning).

The only two things I can think of that would affect oil consumption would be the increased overlap of the new cam and it's relation to the PVC system (seems like a stretch for that much oil but?), and the valve guides. The valve guides snapped into place when installed so it's not that. Somebody's been there and done this. Any ideas?

Are you sure you sealed the bottom of the oil pan right when you took off the front cover? did you change valve seals when you did this too?

Yes, oil pan sealed--no leaks. New bronze colored valve seals--snapped into place when installed.

Snapped into place? Did you tap them down onto the guides with like a deep socket?

I see you have nitrous on the car, could you have cracked a ring?

Have you checked your spark plugs? I did that yesterday and found the threads have oil on them. That'll let you know if it's the piston rings or valve guides/seals.
