Default REAL PRICE of a 408 swap?

I am thinking about a forged 347 or maybe a forged 408 - not sure yet. I know a lot of you guys has dropped some serious coin for the 408s though. I want to know what all I am looking at. I already have the heads/cam/intake I'll be using. The price I am looking at is:

forged 408 shortblock - 3500
cost to swap it out - ??

thats it, right? Or do I need to consider fuel, other things?

My 402 with completely new valvetrain, heads, cam, injectors, pump, wiring and install was just a hundred or two over $7000.

PM me - if you can't post a non-sponsor here. I live in Kansas and am looking for a shop within a reasonable distance from Kansas.

I just got a quote from a builder today. They want $8 grand just for the $408 not including installation.

If I can get a $402 for less that's the way I want to go.
