Default TRak cam and stage 2 LS6 heads compatibility

hi guys! guess this is my first post here after reading for a long time I finally registered.

I was wondering how ptv clearance was the the highlift lsk lobed TRak camshaft from Thunder Racing. I want to run this cam with a set of Stage 2 ls6 heads that have 2.02 valves and a .020 mill. Im going to run a cometic gasket on this motor.

BESIDES measuring, will it clear? If I have to notch pistons then ill just keep my ported LS1 heads that were milled forty.

I tried to search but couldnt find anything that helped me really.

Make sure you understand that lift has nothing to do with ptv clearance. In regards to the cam, duration is the key. With more duration, the valves are left open longer so they're more likely to hit the piston when it comes up.

With that specific combo, I don't think it'll fit. Bigger valves play a big part in decreasing your ptv clearance. And so does the thinner gasket.

Ohh...and by the way, Welcome!
