Default Best cam for A4

What cam would be best for me. I won't be doing much strip racing. mostly roll racing. I plan on keeping the stock gears 323s. Keeping stock tc and will probably go with 3600 stall in future. mods will be pacesetter lt and ory and borla exhaust. I plan on heads later probably cnc ls6 and 100shot of spray. My choices are 228r which I had on my m6 at one time and really loved it but I don't know how it will work with an A4. Tq2 or MS3. Please give me the bad and the good.
Thanks
Tony

definitely do the stall before the cam. if u run a 3600 stall, i would do the torquer v2. its a proven cam. i think it needs more gear. step up to a 3.73!

None of those cams will work well with stock converter. The car will be a dog off the line w/out an aftermarket converter. You should either get the 3600 converter first or get the cam and converter at the same time. Honestly all those cams are pretty much proven. Depends on if you want more torque down low, (228) or more top end (MS3). Get a good stall and 3:73s and any of the cams will make your car run angry at the world.

Dude, for your safety, please GET A STALL 1st. Your car will be fighting the brakes and might die at lights and stops. It will lunge and be very unpredictable on the stock stall. I had your mindset and wanted all the power, but i learned. The stall, to me was more fun than all my bolt-ons. Just consider what i am saying.

Well things are looking good. I now have a fuddle 3800 2.2str stall, Torquer V2 cam, LS2 timming chain, 918's, hardend pushrods, B&M 24,000 trans cooler, pacesetter ceramic longtubes w/ TSP ORY, Borla exhaust. I will be installing all this next week ohh and one more thing spray. I'm not sure what brand to go with yet though. any ideas?

You are not sure on what nitrous setup you want to go with?

Go read and search the nitrous oxide section of Tech. It is loaded with information.
