Default IAC Question!

When i got my cam installed and tuned, my car has a problem with "warm" start. This happens when the car has been running for any amount of time > 10 mins. You turn the car off go run a quick 10 - 15 min errand or what not go and restart the car and struggles to catch idle for 20 or so seconds beofre it fully catches idle. It will stumble around 500 - 700 RPMs going up and down till it cathes...

When you turn the car off, the IAC position is supposed to reset to 310. Mine resets to 190. Now my tuner has cahnged it in my computer for it so say 310 when you shut the car off. it is not responding, so i swapped IAC sensors thinking that the sensor is bad. NOPE still does not reset.

Anyone else having this problem or do they know how to fix it????

read the sticky in the tuning forum. There is a link on how to do a good idle setup. It involves setting the set screw and a few other things. Check it out.

No problem, I cant promise that the stuff in the sticky will work for you though, but it might be of use for ya.

BTW, how is the new setup treating you now that you have had it a few weeks?
