to damn much! They'll want to pull the motor. I checked before I installed mine and heard a few in the 400-500 range so that was enough for me to free up a saturday to do it myself.

but just do it yourself, its not that hard. plus it will instantly make you feel better about getting dirty on your day off when you start it up and think about all the money you saved.

no, just get the car up high enough and slide them in from underneath, to make it little easier pull off your coil packs, 5 10mm bolts, gives you more room.

get someone to help you, its a lot easier if someone starts the bolts up top while you hold them in place

Ok i looked at it and it just seems that i have to pull the spark plugs, the power steering computer, the coil that it connected to the heads, and maybe the alternator. I however don't know what i have to pull off under the car because i didn't get a good look...... Does that sound right?

No, I had to remove: dipstick tube ( ), spark plugs, pass side coil packs (as an assembly), and the starter.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Yeah you should have few problems with the install, especially since you aren't installing them in an LT-1 era car. Now thats a pain in the a**!!

listen man, when i did mine i made a thread in my reginal section and asked some guys i knew for some help on the weekend. I was in your same boat 2 weeks ago. I knew i could do it myself but i wanted the watchful eyes and steady hands of experience with me. Just look up some f-bod friends or try and make some and find a lift or some good jack-stands and ull be alright. Also, i removed the dipstick and coilpacks but not the alternator.

We charge $250 on an LS1 f-body, you don't have to pull the engine.

I did my own, but if I had to do it again, I would seriously consider $250 to have someone else do it
