I was checking it out at the local Dealership. It has alot of really nice features that you are not going to get on a LS1/6/2 block. My guy there can hook me up at $2,100. Which I thought was a deal until this thread. It said the bare block weighs 225lbs finished. How much does the bare LS1/6 block weigh? I have one in my garage that I can pick up and move around with out much trouble. I would guestimate it only weighs 85lbs max. I am thinking there will be well over an extra hundred lbs on the nose of the car with this block. Still a great price considering what a sleved block and Evens cooling system cost.

I was thinking a 4.00" with a 4.200" bore solid roller and a sheet metal intake with seriously worked over AFR's or L92's. That should make for a heck of a motor in a 3,050 Z06.

Shipping is $400 from GMPD, which is 22%, close to a fourth I guess. But if Speed Inc. charges more than $100 for shipping, then GMPD is still cheaper.
