Default Parts Are Here... Some of them anyway

Well, I got most of my parts in from TSP last week (stage 2.5 5.3's, .040 Cometic gaskets, oil pump, lifters). The custom cam from Comp has not made it yet and I am not sure I received the right set of lifters or not. I had planned on calling them Monday, but forgot so I will give them a call tomorrow. I had asked them if they had the Cadillac racing lifters that SDPC carries and they told me thay did have them and would sell them to me at the same price as SDPC, but when I opened the box of parts it had a Comp cam lifter box in it that appeared to still be sealed. So eithet they sent me the Comp lifters by mistake, or they are getting the GM lifters in bulk and then packaging them in Comp boxes. If anyone on here knows, let me know. Otherwise I will just have to find out tomorrow. Hopefully the cam will be here this week and then it will just be a matter of finding the time to do the swap.

They might be the 850-16 Comps. What is the P/N on the box?

That is the number on the box, just not sure if that is what is in the box or if TSP just used the box and shrink wrapped them. If they are the Comps, I will most likely be sending them back as I really wanted to use the GM lifters. My receipt shows that I got the GM lifters and that is what they billed me for.

I have a feeling you are correct, but still retain some hope that they are not.
