Default Can you identify a LS6 camshaft.

I bought an 02 ls6 cam from a member here and when held side by side to my 5.3 cam they look identical. Is there any way to positively identify what it is, and if it is an ls6 cam. On the back end of the cam there is a 4 sequence number on the top two digits under it and then another four digit number under that. Is that bits and pieces of a part number. Thanks.

Maybe try measuring the base circle with a caliper. 02+ ls6 = 19mm from center or 38mm across. .7480" from center or 1.496" across.

Are you sure it's not 5308 as in 12565308?

Went back out and double checked it is 5308. Is there a snowballs chance in hell of it being a 02 ls6 cam considering those are the only four numbers that match.
