Default 6.0 lq4 locked up???

to cut the story short i bought a 00 camaro z28 from a friend yesterday, he installed a lq4 6.0 l, a comp cam 236/242 612/613 114 or 112, not sure, and everything else that needed to be run, car has pacesetter headers, power pulley, 3600 vigilante and a few other bolt ons!!! i turned it on today and left it on for 20 minuetes and then it turned off by itself and my mechanic told me it was locked, we couldnt get the flywheel to turn manually or could we turn the power pulley manually, does anybody know what happened or what this could be, thanks in advance!
