Default How does a big cam respond to f/i or nos?

I have a torquer v3 in my car with all the supporting modifications.

231/234 .644/.598 111lsa. How would this cam respond to say 7-8 psi or a 150 shot? I know that people generally like lower tame cams for turbos but I was just wondering exactly how it would go?

Where's the big cam?
In all seriousness, I'm sure it'll do fine, but all the people around here keep saying you want more exhaust duration than that for the bottle. I'm just putting my bottle on tomorrow, so I admit I don't know a lot. Just thought I'd share what I've heard, and I'll hopefully learn a lot from this thread.

I can't answer your question either but I've seen some T-rex #'s on juice and they're pretty damn impressive.

As far as turbocharging, that cam would cause some serious reversion. That low LSA would be the killer. I'm sure it would work, but not as well as something better designed for the job. I know that's how I felt about my hotcam, and it was a tiny thing compared to yours! =)

what if you were to put a 233/233 .589" lift 112 lobe cam in a 382....and then put a blower on it??

it should be a mild cam for a stroker...

Big cams work fine with blowers, you just have to spin it faster to build more boost, but power comes from CFM not boost numbers. A big cam running 5psi of manifold pressure will flow more air than a baby cam running 5 psi. A bigger cam with turbos doesnt work so good due to the turbo being driven the the exhaust gases which are affected by the cam.

Any cam works just fine with nitrous.

I am mulling the idea of putting a procharger on the current setup and running like 8 psi, and then maybe hit it with a small 50-100 shot.
