Default comp 918 springs?

Are these springs OK up to .600 lift or .625 lift? TSP's headings says one way and then the description says the other.

Thanks

I wouldn't push them to .625, .610 maybe .615 at the most. They are only rated to .600.

Thanks, so a 228/232 .588/.595 XER lobe cam should be OK with the 918's?

Maybe I'll go with the PRC dual spring kit just to be safe. It seems like a good deal. Are the PRCs a good product?

918s would be perfect with the cam you listed. And yes PRC are definately good springs.

The PRCs are good springs, but the 918s will handle this lift.

Patriots are great springs + for their price they come with locks, seals, and titanium retainers.

It is not only a matter of lift. More important is open seat pressure. Always have the spring match or exceed that requirement for said cam.
918's were designed with XE-R lobes in mind, if properly installed at correct height and pressure, they are THE best spring in that range.

Thanks guys, sounds like the 918s will be sufficient. Maybe I'll see what TSP recommends with this cam when I go to order to be sure. I hope they don't just try to sell me the more expensive ones.

let me ask this question.... how often would i have to change out the 918 springs with my 224/228 .581/.588 110+2 LSA on XE-R lobes? mostly a once or twice a week driven car and maybe 5 passes a year at the track (1/8th mile).

I'm running the 918's with a 233/239 .595/.603 and they have held up fine so far (2000 miles) and didn't even have any valve float on the dyno up to 6800 rpm, they are good enough for a T2. That being said I will still be switching to dual springs in the future for insurance.
